St. Mary's has been providing quality education since 1913. Students at St. Mary's are nurtured and quided by Christian family values, stressing accountability, confidence, morals, respect, and fun. They develop good study skills and work ethics that help them throughout life. Small class sizes allow for individual attention. Parental involvement is strongley encouraged on all levels.
Our students also have access to special services from the Greenwood Public School System such as: Title 1, Free & Reduced Lunch, band and after school athletics. All denominations are welcome as 40% of our 2017-2018 student population is non-Catholic.
Fair Share Tuition
Understandably, a significant part of your decision to send your student to St. Mary's involves the cost of doing so. First and foremost, we want to assure you that no child will be turned away for financial reasons. At the same time, such a large undertaking as a school is only possible if everyone pitches in as they are able. Said most simply, we ask our families to contribute their Fair Share of the cost to educate their child, taking in to consideration their family's financial situation. Fair Share Tuition is determinded entirely by each individual family. Fair Share Agreements are made with the understanding that if your financial circumstances change during the year, it may be revised (Fair Share Agreements will be kept confidential). Also, there are other sources to help out with tuition including, the use of the SCRIP program and participating in Home & School (parent group) fundraising.
St. Mary's School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
